Frequently Asked Questions

How do I install my merchandiser?

Installation procedures are explained in the Owner’s Manuals for each merchandiser and the installer must follow those instructions. The instructions given hereafter are a brief summary and do not substitute the instructions given in the Owner’s Manuals:

  • Make sure the electrical power source matches the merchandiser power requirement printed in the Owner’s Manual or on the merchandiser nameplate
  • Merchandiser MUST be installed on a dedicated circuit and circuit breaker
  • Ensure proper clearance, as specified in the Owner’s Manual, is provided around the merchandiser.
  • Do not install merchandiser in a warm non air-conditioned place

  • For proper drainage and door closing, merchandiser must be properly level
How do I clean and protect my merchandiser?

Cleaning procedure is explained in the Owner’s Manuals. Make sure the merchandiser is disconnected from power source before commencing any cleaning.

Use only non-abrasive, mild liquid cleaners. Use of abrasive or chlorine-based cleaners will damage your cabinet. For stainless steel parts, a commercial stainless-steel polish and cleaner should be used. Always apply the cleaner to a soft cloth and then clean the freezer/cooler with the cloth – never apply the cleaner directly onto the freezer/cooler. Use soft water whenever possible.

What are the condenser maintenance requirements for the merchandiser?

Cleaning procedure is explained in the Owner’s Manuals. Make sure the merchandiser is disconnected from power source before commencing any cleaning.

Our merchandisers have low-maintenance condensers, which do not require regular cleaning and maintenance under normal operating conditions. Under some exceptions, such as the use of waxed based products for floor cleaning, the condensers need to be cleaned on a periodic basis.
